Sandra L. Kilby

Perrysville, Ind. - Sandra L. Kilby, 71, of Perrysville, passed away unexpectedly at 3:03 p.m. EDT Thursday, June 11, 2020 at her residence.

She was born on June 14, 1948 in Danville, Illinois the daughter of Beverly J. (Prather) Friedlund and Floyd A. Estock.

Survivors include her daughter: Stephanie Kilby of Evansville, Indiana; granddaughter: Ashton Kilby-Benefield of Evansville, Indiana; sister: Michelle Friedlund of Perrysville, Indiana; brother: Bradley (Linda) Estock of Ashton, Illinois; several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and cousins.

Sandra was preceded in death by her mother; stepfather: Harry 'Junior' Friedlund, and maternal grandparents: Arnold (Mary) Prather.

Sandra attended Coal Branch Church in rural Perrysville, Indiana. She was a 1966 graduate of North Vermillion High School and a graduate of the Danville Beauty School. Sandra formerly worked as a seamstress at Steel Grip in Kingman, Indiana. Sandra was a former 4-H Leader and dietary specialist at Deaconess Women's Hospital in Evansville, Indiana. She enjoyed crafting, playing cards and bingo, scrapbooking, watching the Chicago Cubs, NASCAR, golfing and planning trips for the Senior Center in Sycamore, Illinois. She especially enjoyed watching her granddaughter play soccer.

Graveside service and inurnment of cremains will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2020 at 11 a.m. EDT at Hopewell Cemetery in Rileysburg, Indiana. Officiating: Pastor Tracy Taulman. A Celebration of Life gathering will take place at the Perrysville Firehouse in Perrysville, Indiana from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. EDT on Saturday, June 27, 2020.
