Sandra Kay Martin Sandra Kay Martin, 62, of Bismarck, IL, died at 6:53 pm on April 9, 2008 at home. Sandra was born on December 17, 1945 in Oklahoma City, OK, the eldest daughter of Bobby and Vivian Robinson. Sandra graduated from Carroll High School in 1963 and Texas A & M University-Corpus Christi. She was a 6th grade teacher for many years at Flour Bluff School. Sandra moved to Illinois from Texas to care for her grandchildren so that her daughter could go to college. She enjoyed sewing and spending time with her children and grandchildren. Surviving are her mother Vivian Robinson or Corpus Christi, TX; younger sister Peggy (Rusty) Valentine of Texas; daughter Linda (Laramie) Messmore of Bismarck, IL; son Captain James (Suhn Kyung) Redding of CA; and 6 grandchildren Jerry, Austin, Dallas and Kristina Messmore of Bismarck, and Graeson and Landon Redding of CA. A special thank you to Sandras friends and neighbors for all the love and caring given to her. Memorial services for Sandra Kay Martin are to be held at a later date. Memorials in her name may be made to the Bismarck Womens Club. Sunsets Community and Life Tribute Center are in charge of arrangements.
