Sandra Kay Haussy, 61, of Danville, formerly of Bismarck, passed away at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, August 31, 2006 at the Hawthorne Inn in Danville. Sandi was born on November 21, 1944 in Danville, the daughter of Lemuel and Hilda (Deck) Seals. She married Kenneth Haussy on August 6, 1967 in Rossville. He preceded her in death on November 3, 1999 after 32 loving years of marriage. She is survived by her two daughters- Cherylyn (David) Kinney of Oakwood and Michelle (Matt) Limbach of Youngstown, Florida; six grandchildren- Brandon Sanks, Dallas Sanks, Dylon Kinney, Tawnya Kinney, Mackenzee Limbach, and Mason Limbach; one brother- Max (Marilyn) Seals of Tampa, Florida; one aunt- Retha Deck of Lincoln, Illinois; one uncle- Denny (Agnes) Seals of Hoopeston, Illinois; and numerous in-laws, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter-Brenda Sue Haussy, one brother- Ronnie Seals, and one niece- Rhonda Seals. Sandi graduated from Rossville High School in Rossville. She was a member of First Church of Christ in Danville. Sandi worked at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center as a Central Processing Tech for 16 years. Prior to working at the hospital she used to work at G.E. and as a hairdresser. Sandi enjoyed doing puzzles and collecting teddy bear figurines. Sandi loved to travel with her husband Ken. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. A celebration of the life of Sandi Haussy will be at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 5, 2006 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, with Rev. Kevin Cox officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rossville Cemetery.
