Sandra Joan Jordan

Sandra Joan Jordan, 63, of Georgetown, passed away at 8:34pm, Sunday, April 30, 2017, at her home. She was born on April 19, 1954, the daughter of Donald W. and Norma Maxine {Tuel} Ellis, both deceased. She was married to A.J. Jordan in February of 1970 with whom she had four children. Sandra was a big Elvis fan and talented seamstress. She made clothing for her grandchildren. She also collected porcelain dolls and enjoyed planting her flowers and gardening. She loved her family above all and cherished the time she spent with them especially her grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by: her children, Suzanne (Aundra Newton) Jordan of Urbana, Maxine (Eric Burress) Vice of Georgetown, Brian (Melissa) Jordan of Connecticut, & Celesta (Eric) Williams of Georgetown; her grandchildren, Tyann Parker, Sierra (Sheldon Truelove) Vice, Brody Vice, Cullen Vice, Amanda Chatfield, Benjamin Jordan, Raymond Jordan, Max Jordan, Macy Jordan, Molly Jordan, Brad Perry, & Brittany Perry; her brothers, Donnie (Karis) Ellis of Ridge Farm and Russel (Heather) Ellis of Newport, IN, & Tony (Lori) Ellis of Georgetown; her several aunts, uncles, & extended family; and her special pet, Chi-Chi. She was preceded in death by: her brother, David Ellis; and nieces, Tori Ellis & Katasha Ellis. A celebration of Sandra's life will be held at 1:00pm, Thursday, May 4, 2017, at Sunset's Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home, 200 E. West Street, Georgetown, with Pastor Glen Thompson officiating. Visitation will be held 5:00pm to 8:00pm, Wednesday, May 3, 2017, at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Whitlock Cemetery, Georgetown. Memorial donations may be given to her family.
