Sandra Hunt

Sandra Hunt, 56, Covington, IN, passed away at 3:25pm EST, Monday, December 13, 2010 at the St. Vincent Hospice Home in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born on January 7, 1954 in Paris, IL, the daughter of Frank and Sarah (Davis) Haenig. On August 14, 1982, Sandra married Mark Hunt in Crawfordsville, IN. He preceded her in death on October 1, 2010. Family survivors include her three children, Douglas Hunt of Veedersburg, IN, Stacy (Barry) Winko, of Indianapolis, Jennifer Hunt of Covington, and Sandras two grandchildren, Isaiah Winko, and Olivia Hunt. In addition to her husband Mark, her parents, and sister, Shirley Fleming preceded Sandra in death. Sandra was a 1972 Paris High School graduate and the Coopers Chapel Baptist Church in Covington. She worked at Indiana State University, R.R. Donnelley, Lakeland College, and most recently as a computer programmer at DACC for 20 plus years. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, photography, horses and spending time with family and friends, as well as volunteering as den leader for the Girl and Boy Scout for over 10 years. She will be missed by all that knew her. A Celebration of Sandra Hunts Life will begin at 11:00am EST on Friday, December 17, 2010 at Sunsets Covington Chapel located at 420 3rd St., Covington, IN. Sandra will be laid next to her husband Mark at Franklin Cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be from 4-8pm on Thursday, December 16, 2010 at the funeral home.
