Samuel Kilby

Kingman, Ind. - Samuel F. Kilby, 76, of Kingman, passed away at 12:17 p.m. EST Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at his residence.

He was born January 18, 1943 in Danville, Illinois the son of the late Johnny and Elizabeth (Sears) Kilby.

He married Vicky (Hill) Kilby on March 1, 1963 in Marion, Kentucky and she survives.

Other survivors include his daughter: Tori (Bill) Cunningham of Covington, Indiana; two sons: Clint (Vicki) Kilby of Covington, Indiana and Sam (Raeshannon) Kilby Jr. of Coos Bay, Oregon. Also surviving are three brothers, one sister, 14 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Sam was a 1961 graduate of Cayuga High School. He worked at GM for 30 years up until his retirement in 1993. In his spare time he enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
