Samantha Blue

Samantha Danielle Blue 21, of Westville passed away at 8:43 a.m. Friday October 9, 2009 at Provena USMC. She was born March 31, 1988 in Danville the daughter of James Blue and Vicki Meeker. Those who will miss her are her mother and father James Blue and Vicki Blue, her daughter Alyssa Wright of Westville, two brothers; Tyler Bennett and Ryan Blue both of Westville, her grandparents Ray (Kaye) Dillon of Veedersburg, In, Ellen Dombrowski of Westville, Phil (Helen) Meeker and Betty Blue of Westville, also surving is Alyssas father Ben Wright of Westville and several aunts and uncles. She was preceded in death by her grandfather James Blue and great-grandma Mildred Nana Kyger. Samantha enjoyed playing softball, watching football, riding motorcycles and ATV, her most joy was taking her daughter fishing and spending time with family and friends. A celebration of life funeral service for Samantha will be 1:00p.m. Wednesday October 14, 2009 at Sunset Urbas Chapel in Westville. Officiating will be Pastor Jim Blue. Visitation for family and friends will be 4-8 p.m. Tuesday October 13, 2009 at the funeral home; Burial will be in St. Peter & Paul cemetery in Westville. In lui of flowers memorial donations can be given to Samanthas daughter Alyssa, a fund is set up at Landmark Credit Union in Westville.
