Sam D. Chipps
Newport, Ind. -- Sam D. Chipps, 90, formerly of Newport and Clearwater, Florida, passed away at 12:04 a.m. EST Sunday, January 16, 2011 at Oak Manor Nursing Home in Largo, Florida. Per family request cremation was accorded. Burial of cremains will be held at a later date at Thomas Cemetery in Newport, Indiana. DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana is assisting the family with arrangements.
