Sally Jo Kraich

Sally J. Kraich, 82, of Danville, IL passed away on November 14, 2024 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL.

Sally was born on September 29, 1942 the daughter of Joel Boylen and Sarah Irene (Coon) Keller in Anderson, IN. She married Garry James Kraich on February 14, 1963 in Madison County, IN and he preceded her in death on June 20, 1991.

Sally is survived by her beloved cats “Teddy” and “Luci” and her close group of friends, the “Charlotte’s Girls”.

Sally is preceded in death by her parents, her stepfather, John Lee Baughman, husband, Garry Kraich, infant son, Anthony James Kraich, as well as two siblings.

Sally was an administrative assistant for Elwood “Woody” Farmer Mass Mutual Life Insurance for over 40 years. She was a member of Second Church of Christ in Danville and served on the Missions Team. Sally loved her cats, and anything cat related. She also enjoyed spending her free time shopping, going to the Dairy Barn for ice cream, and the Saturday lunch gatherings with the “Charlotte’s Girls”.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, IL 61834 is assisting the family with arrangements.

In lieu of flowers memorials in Sally’s memory are requested to Second Church of Christ Missions Fund in Danville, IL, the Women’s Care Clinic in Danville, IL or Hooves of Hope in Potomac, IL.
