Sally M. Hastings

Danville – Sally M. Hastings, 85, of Danville, passed away at 9:15 AM on Monday, March 3, 2025 at her home. She was born October 8, 1939 to Esther Winebrenner. She married William “Bill” J. Hastings on September 30, 1975 in Danville. He preceded her in death on March 30, 2010.

She is survived by four children, Roy L. Dodd, Barry (Darla) Dodd, Penny Hastings, and Crystal Hastings; two grandchildren, Roseanne and Taylor; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents.

Sally was a homemaker for most of her life, always staying busy taking care of her family. She enjoyed spending time outdoors and especially liked flowers of all kinds. Sally loved animals as well and regularly had pets in the home.

Per Sally’s wishes, there will be no services at this time. Interment will take place at Sunset Memorial Park in Danville. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 3940 N. Vermilion St., Danville, IL 61834.
