DANVILLE - Sally Ann Carroll, 69, of Danville, IL, passed away at 11:45am, Thursday, January 17th, 2008, at her home. She was born on February 6th, 1938, in Danville, IL, the daughter of Paul and Anna (Parzatka) Juris, both deceased. She married Frank Carroll on July 3rd, 1965, in Danville, IL. He will miss her dearly. Others who will miss her include: her two sons, Joseph (Alice) Carroll of Danville and John Carroll of Cave Creek, AZ; her three daughters, Cheryl (Paul) Rome of Danville, Donna (Brad) Carlton of Georgetown, and Janet (Michael) Greene of Westville; her grandchildren, Jason (Melissa) Rome of Danville, Andrew Rome of Danville, Anna, Britanee, & Kathy Jo Carroll, all of Danville, Zane Greene of Westville, Jarret, Joshua, & Kyle Carlton, all of Georgetown; and soon-to-be-born first great grandchild due in June; her two brothers, Gregory (Patricia) Juris of Danville & Ronald (Donna) Juris of Bloomington, IL; as well as, many nieces, nephews and great nieces & nephews. Sally graduated from Lourdes High School in Chicago and Cosmetology School in Chicago as well. She owned Sals Curl Harbor which she started in Chicago and moved to Danville. She was a member of St. Marys Church, St. Marys Alter Rosary Society, and a member of the Westville American Legion Post #51 Womens Auxiliary. In her spare time, Sally enjoyed gardening; she bought and sold collectibles & antiques and enjoyed visiting casinos, OTB, & horse races. She cherished her thirty years of vacations spent with her family at Indiana Beach. She loved attending all of her grandkids events and activities. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 2:00pm, Monday, January 21, 2008, at St. Marys Church, 231 N State St, Westville, IL. Father Richard Brunskill will officiate the service. Visitation will be 6:00pm to 9:00pm, Sunday, January 20th, 2008, at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel, 414 S State St, Westville, IL with a rosary to start at 6:00pm. She will be laid to rest in St. Peter & Pauls Cemetery, Westville. Memorial donations may be given in her name to St. Marys School or to donors choice.
