Sadie Rhea (Watson) Woodard, 89, from Danville IL (formerly from Armstrong, IL), passed away on Friday, November 13, 2015 at United Samaritans Medical Center, Danville, IL. She was born on July 27, 1926, in Tellico Plains, Tennessee to Thomas and Susan (Russell) Watson. She married Richard L. Woodard on November 13, 1952 in Spokane, Washington and had just celebrated 63 years of marriage. She is survived by her spouse Richard; her daughter SueAnne (Nathan) Luppino; three grandchildren, Adrion (Tiffany) Little, Pamela (Richard) Rhoades and Jason Meister; two step-grandchildren, Christopher and Stephanie Luppino; three great-grandchildren, Tyler Little, Alexis and Kolten Rhoades; and her brother, Allen (Joan) Watson. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Thomas L. Woodard. Sadie was selfless individual who loved her family and being a nurse. She touched many lives over the years and will be missed by everyone - especially Buster. A celebration of Sadie's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 and burial at Sunset Memorial Park. A visitation will be held one hour before the service at Sunset Funeral Home, Danville, IL. Condolences may be left at www.sunsetfuneralhome.com
