Ruth Lynch

Champaign - Ruth E. Lynch, 70, passed away at 1:00am on April 24, 2017 at Illini Heritage Nursing home in Champaign, with her family by her side. She was born on April 25, 1947, in Cincinnati, OH, the daughter of Savanah & Helen (Hood) Lawhorn, both deceased. She will be dearly missed by: her children Janice Lynch of Hopkinsville, KY, John (Lisa) Lynch of Champaign, & Elizabeth (Justin) Johnston of Champaign; grandchildren, Haley, Preston, Larra, Savannah, Mia & Morgan; sister, Vanessa Harper of Mahomet; Ruth was preceded in death by her brother, Ron Lawhorn. Ruth enjoyed camping, fishing & her online games. She also loved spending time with her family and friends. A celebration of Ruth's life will be at 3:00pm on Saturday, May 6, 2017 at Sunset Funeral Home, 710 N. Neil St, Champaign. A visitation will one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
