Ruth Jane Bunting

Danville Ruth Jane Bunting, 94, of Danville, passed away at 11:45 PM on Wednesday, July 1, 2020 in Catlin, IL. She was born on October 16, 1925 in Danville, the daughter of Cyrus and Frances (Burroughs) Wright. She married Kenneth Bunting who preceded her in death on September 22, 2001.

She is survived by two daughters, Kay Baker of Perrysville, IN and Julie Wolf of Tilton, IL; 6 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Arnold and Dale.

Ruth worked as a telephone operator for many years with Illinois Bell and the companies it later became. In her younger years she enjoyed bowling, playing BINGO and cards, and spending time at the K of C Hall.

Per Ruths wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. A service to celebrate her life will be held at a later date. Memorials in her name may be made to AMBUCS. Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, 3940 N. Vermilion St. Danville, IL 61834 is in charge of arrangements.
