Danville - Ruby Moulton, 91, of Danville, passed away on January 9, 2014 at Presence United Medical Center in Danville. She was born October 16, 1922 in Danville, IL the daughter of William and Ercel Liggett Irwin. She married Don Moulton on December 20, 1940 in Danville. He preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter Donna (Steve) Hicks; her granddaughter Amanda (Bruce) Rutland; and her great-grandchildren Andrew Bruce Rutland, and Alexis Rutland. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Don; her brother, William Irwin Jr; and her sister, Olive. Ruby was a very talented person; she could play the piano, the organ, and the accordion. She played piano at the Westside Church of the Nazarene for over 60 years. She played the accordion on the radio as well as at The Hotel Wolford. Ruby loved her church; her church was her life. Above all else, Ruby loved her family she will be sorely missed by anyone who was fortunate enough to have known her. A celebration of Rubys life will be held at 11am on Tuesday January 14, 2014 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home in Danville. A visitation will be held on Tuesday January 14, 2014 from 10am to 11am at the funeral home.
