Ruby Louise Mcmorris

Ruby Louise McMorris, 83, of Georgetown, passed away at 9:00pm, Monday, May 2, 2011, at Pleasant Meadows Christian Village, Chrisman. She was born on August 28, 1927, in Georgetown, the daughter of James J. Sr. and Rosia {Tonelle} Mariage, both deceased. Ruby was first married to Franklin Niziolkiewicz on April 12, 1947. She later united in marriage to Ronald McMorris in 1971 until his passing on December 4, 1991. Those who will miss her include: her son, Dennis (Suzanne) Niziolkiewicz of Danville; her daughter, Dianne (Robert) Rice of Danville; her step-daughters, Karen (Kim) Rummel of Westville & Terri (Bob) Fowler; her sister, Marilyn (Danny Otero) McKenzie of Colorado; her grandchildren, Christopher (Shelly) Rice of Catlin, Kimberly (Andrew) Norton of Danville, Carla (Jeff) Taylor of Westville, RaeAnn Klink of Georgetown, & Joshua (Beth) Niziolkiewicz of Lincoln, IL; her step-grandsons, Jason (Bree) Rummel of Indianapolis & Ryan (Abbey) Rummel of Westville; her sixteen great grandchildren; and special friend of 60 plus years, Bonnie Pribble of Georgetown. Her brother, James J. Mariage Jr. preceded her in death. Ruby enjoyed being with her family and friends and planning get-togethers. She was known as the family caretaker and was always there when someone needed help or care. She will be missed dearly by her family. A Celebration of Rubys life will be held at 10:30am, Friday, May 6, 2011, at Sunsets Houghton-Leasure Funeral Chapel, A Life Celebration Home, Georgetown, with Father Greg Nelson officiating. Visitation will be 5-7pm, Thursday, May 5, 2011, at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest in Georgetown Cemetery.
