Ruby G. Donald

Cayuga, Ind. - Ruby G. Donald, 83, of Cayuga, passed away at 5:50 p.m. EST Sunday, December 14, 2014 at her residence. She was born October 24, 1931 in Edgar County, Illinois the daughter of the late Ben and Fearl Hathaway Swank. She married Robert F. Donald on March 27, 1960 in Cayuga, Indiana. He survives. Other survivors include her daughter, Bonnie(Jerry)Delp of Cayuga, Indiana; son, Rick(Patti)Donald of Covington, Indiana; four grandchildren, Cheryl(Scott)Abernathy; Adam(Samantha)Delp; Misty(Eric)Davis and Benjamin(Lexi)Donald, and several great grandchildren. Ruby was preceded in death by her sister, Lucille Riggle. Ruby worked for 37 years for General Electric and Valmont, both of Danville, retiring in 1992. She was a member of the Stringtown Church of God south of Covington, Indiana. Ruby enjoyed collecting and refinishing antiques and working with stain glass. Funeral services: 10 a.m. EST Friday, December 19, 2014 at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana; Officiating: Rev. Keith Klossner; Burial: Eugene Cemetery, Eugene, Indiana; Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. EST Thursday, December 18, 2014 at the funeral home.
