Ruby E. 'Angie' Warren

Ruby E. Angie Warren, 85, of Georgetown, passed away at 8:55am, Thursday, October 23, 2008, at Vermilion Manor Nursing Home. She was born on July 17th, 1923, in Humrick, IL, the daughter of Frank J. and Bessie (Nolan) Collins. She was wed to Clifford Warren in March of 1948 until his passing in September 1989. She will be missed by: her sons, Patrick Warren of Georgetown & Michael Warren of Danville; her daughters, Debra (Terry) Mills of Terrell, TX, & Gretchen Warren of Georgetown; her grandchildren, Charles Mack of Danville, Sara (Nick) Holycross of Catlin, Susan (Brett) Wright of Danville, Holly Simmons of Danville, Dawn Simmons of Georgetown, & Tonya Hawkins of Danville; her twelve great-grandchildren; and her sister, Cathy (Russell) Frazier of St. Joseph. Angie was preceded in death by: her parents; her son, Joseph; her daughter, Sandra; three brothers; and five sisters. Angie worked for the VA Hospital until her retirement as a housekeeper. She was a veteran of the US Navy Waves. She was a member of the Cayuga American Legion Auxiliary. She loved to play Bingo and enjoyed rides in the country. She also enjoyed playing Euchre and visiting with her neighbors. Most of all, she cherished her family and spending time with her grandkids. A celebration of Angies life will be held at 10:00am, Monday, October 27th, 2008, at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel, 414 S State St, Westville. Ernie Rumple will officiate. Visitation will be held 2-6pm, Sunday, October 26, 2008, at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at Danville National Cemetery. Sunsets Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
