Roy N. Linn, Jr., 70, of Danville passed away at 4:20am Saturday April 2, 2005 at his residence. He was born September 30, 1934 in Danville, the son of Roy N. and Mildred R. (Keller) Linn, Sr. He married Donna G. Phelps April 15, 1955 in Danville. She survives. He is also survived by two sons, Roy N. (Debbe) Linn III and Patrick K. Linn, both of Danville, one sister Millie Linn of Dunedin, Florida, one granddaughter Haleigh Linn, two step-granddaughters Courtney (Kent) King and Megan Sempsrott, one step great-granddaughter, Ava King, all of Danville, one nephew, Tom Linn, one great-nephew, Chase Linn, both of Florida, and three close friends, Larry Stultz, Jerry Jeffries, and Drake Taylor, all of Danville. Roy served an electrical apprenticeship with the C&EI Railroad and then worked for Tee-Pak in research and development, retiring with 29 years of service. He served with the United States Navy Reserves for eight years and studied electronics. He loved using his computer and was an avid golfer belonging to Harrison Park Golf Association.
