Roy D. Pasquale

Roy Dale Pasquale, of Danville, left this life on December 11, 2019 at Gardenview Manor in Danville.

He leaves behind his loving wife and soulmate of 40 years, Cheryl (Fitzwater) Pasquale. Also his three sons; Eric (Nancy) Pasquale of Danville, Roy Matthew (Cindy) Pasquale of Grape Creek and Daniel of Grape Creek, one daughter, Amanda (Dan) Pasquale of Westville, three brothers; Ricky (Sheila) Pasquale of Cayuga, IN, Jimmy (Barb) Pasquale of Danville and Timmy Pasquale of TN, three sisters; Susan (Bob) Haton of Westville, Lottie and Sandra from Danville. Other survivors include, sisters-in-law, Karen (Gary) Dukes, Carol (Powwow) Fitzwater and Sherry Fitzwater, his adoring grandchildren; Shailey, Arial, Brandon, Savannah, Brittney, Haylee, Parker, Arianna, Hannah and great grandchildren, Neya and T.J. He was also a loving uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Roy was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Ernestine (Feggett) Pasquale, mother-in-law, Florence (Noble) Fitzwater, one brother, Bobby Pasquale, two sisters, Shirley and Patty, one granddaughter, Daishenell and brother-in-law, Mike Fitzwater.

Roy was known as one of the biggest hog farmers in the area. He was born in Rossville and moved to Grape Creek as a young boy. He went to Grape Creek School and Westville High School. He enjoyed cutting and splitting firewood, mushroom hunting, listening to Johnny Cash and watching westerns.

The family would like to especially thank the staff at Gardenview Manor for all their loving care and kindness Roy received.

A celebration of Roys life will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 13, 2019 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville 3940 North Vermilion St. Danville, IL 61834 with Pastor Jim Blue officiating. Visitation will be held from 10-11 AM prior to the service. He will be laid to rest at Parrish Cemetery in Grape Creek.
