Roy A Hathaway

Roy A. Hathaway, 66, of Westville, passed away at 1:47pm, Friday, October 10, 2014, at his home. Roy was born July 19, 1948, in Danville, the son of Roy “Cotton” and Hope {Barton} Hathaway. He married Rebecca Perzee on May 11, 1993, in Danville, she will miss him dearly. He will also be missed by: his children, Roy Cambell Jr. of Danville, Traci (Nick) Bianco of Danville, Jennifer (Jerry Vargas) Graham of Danville, and Trisha Tuggle of St Joseph; three sisters, Ann (Jerry) Wilson of Danville, Liz Wright of Westville and Linda Calgrove of Georgetown; and twelve grandchildren. He was preceded by his parents and a sister, Christy Sollars. Roy was a member of Morey Chapel Church and was employed by Hyster/NACCO for 35 years. Roy loved the outdoors, mushroom hunting and riding his four-wheeler & motorcycle. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family and his grandchildren. A celebration of life Visitation will be 3pm to 7pm Tuesday October 14, 2014 at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel in Westville. There will be no service. Memorial donations can be given to his family to help with funeral expenses.
