Danville Rotchen Wright, Jr., 95, of Danville, IL passed away at 8:19 AM on December 2, 2020 at his residence in Danville, IL.

Rotchen was born on October 23, 1925 the son of Rotchen and Nora (Harris) Wright in Marshfield, IN.

Survivors include his son, Eldon (Geri) Wright of Danville, IL and his daughter, Melanie (Raymond) Rowley of Danville, IL, one brother, Robert (Susan) Wright of Key Largo, FL as well as five grandchildren, Lani (Joe) Carter, Blaine (Kelsey) Wright, Heather (John) Flores, Zack (Holly) Miller and Vincent Miller, II and ten great-grandchildren.

Rotchen is preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Jerry Wright.

Rothchen was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene and the Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed spending his free time square dancing and was a Frontier Twirler. He also enjoyed building trailers and taking care of his yard.

There will be a Public Graveside Service on Tuesday December 8, 2020 at 10:00 AM in Spring Hill Cemetery, 301 E Voorhees Street, Danville, IL 61832. Pastor Dave Anderson will officiate. Visitation will be held on Monday December 7, 2020 from 5:00 7:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834 Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery.

It is kindly requested that those in attendance of services wear a face mask and practice social distancing.

Memorials may be contributed to the First Church of the Nazarene in Danville in Rotchens memory.
