Rosemary C. Grzelak 90, of Westville, passed away at 8:40 A.M. Monday July 11, 2011 at Provena USMC E.R. in Danville. She was born on June 8, 1921 in Danville, the daughter of James Feets and Catherine Kate Kelly Sneyd. Rosemary married Chester Grzelak on June 7, 1947 in Westville; he preceded her on September 4, 2001. Those who will miss her are her two children; James (Elisabeth) Grzelak of Danville and Roseann (Lee) Viktora of Westville, a granddaughter; Carley Chervinko of Danville, three sisters; Virginia Blasko of Aurora, IL, Lois Fertaly of Westville and Mary Betty Meis of Danville. She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother James. In her younger days Rosemary worked at the Musbecks Shoe factory in Danville also the Jacket Factory in Westville as a Seamstress and later at the Windbreaker Factory in Danville and retiring from the Westville School District as a cook. Rosemary was a member of St Marys Church and St Marys alter and Rosary Society, Westville American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed cooking and Baking, word search puzzles, making hats for her family, she enjoyed playing softball and was a very good Bowler. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family. Rosemary always had a smile on her face. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday July 14, 2011 at St. Marys Catholic Church in Westville with Father Timothy Sauppe officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday July 13 at Sunset-Urbas Funeral Chapel, A Life Celebration Home. A Rosary service will be at 3:30 p.m. prior to the visitation, also a Westville American Legion Auxiliary Memorial service will be at 6:00 pm during visitation. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery in Danville. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Marys Church, The Westville Depot Museum or Fetch Park for Animals in Danville.
