Danville- Rosemary A. Maser went peacefully at her home to be with her Lord on Sunday, June 30, 2013 at the age of 79. She was born October 27, 1933 to Nicholas and Hazel (Lossman) Reis. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, sister, and her loving husband, John. To cherish her memory she leaves her daughter Sharon (James) McMahon of Danville; her sons John (Joan) Maser of Bradenton, FL and Jim (Lorri) Maser of Danville. Her greatest joys were her grandchildren, who knew her as Nannie, Christopher (Rena) McMahon, Lisa (Ralph) Dunham, Christina (Adrian Cardin) Maser, John Maser, Anthony Maser, Eric Maser, Charlie Maser, Kyle Maser, and Matthew Maser. She also enjoyed time with her great grandchildren, Ely and Ethan Dunham, Leilani Cardin, Jordyn Maser, Amber and Austin Acord, and Lauren and Larson McMahon. Before moving to Danville in 1990 she worked at Harris Bank of Naperville. She enjoyed working at Illini Skateland in Danville, greeting her customers when they walked in the door with her beautiful smile. She loved life, especially swimming with her friends at the YFRC, and singing with the Holy Family Church Choir where she was a member for 20 years. She enjoyed going to BINGO with family and friends, especially Julie Howard. She also loved her family dinners where all her family would watch Wheel of Fortune and celebrate if they could solve the puzzle before she did, especially Ralph. Now she sings with the choir of angels and watches over us from Heaven. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10 AM on Monday, July 8, 2013 at Holy Family Catholic Church in Danville. Father Ted Pracz and Father Steven Loftus will officiate. Burial will follow at Danville National Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4-8 PM on Sunday, July 7 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home in Danville. A Rosary Service will be held at 3:30 PM just prior to visitation. Memorials may be made to the Holy Family Church Choir.
