Roseann Bracewell, 84, of Danville, passed away at 11:45 PM on Monday, May 28, 2012 at Provena Covenant Medical Center in Urbana. Roseann was born on March 3, 1928 in Danville, the daughter of Claude and Ruth (Weatherall) Lindley. She married Robert Bracewell on May 12, 1971 in Wichita Falls, TX. He survives. She is survived by one daughter-Cynthia (Richard) Kay Slade of Mahomet, one brother- Robert W. Lindley of Tennessee, two grandchildren- Jason (Gretchen) Mann of Sugar Grove, IL and Timothy (Mitzi) Mann- Active Duty Air Force and two great-grandchildren- Marshall and Scarlett Mann. She was preceded in death by her parents, ex-husband Robert Stevens and one daughter- Bobby Ann Stevens. Roseann was a member of Central Park United Methodist Church in Tilton until it closed then joined the First United Methodist Church of Danville. She attended Danville High and then went to The House of James Beauty School where she became a hairdresser. She worked for 32 years as a hairdresser in her own home retiring in 1990. She was a member of the Red Hat Society of Danville. Roseann loved gardening her yellow roses, sewing, crocheting, bowling, doing crafts, traveling, baking and cooking. A Celebration of Roseann's Life will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home in Danville with Lynette DeAtley officiating. A visitation will be held from 4:00-7:00 PM on Friday, June 1, 2012 at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Sunset Memorial Park.
