Rose Ann Stein Beloved sister, artist, lawyer and wonderful person. Rose Stein died in Chicago, IL on December 26, 2015. Born at Great Lakes Naval Base, Chicago, IL on December 18, 1959, Rose spent her life helping people personally and professionally, including as a lawyer and advocate for people with disabilities. Rose attended Danville Public Schools and graduated from Danville High School. She went on to graduate from the University of Wisconsin and the DePaul University School of Law. Rose's interests ranged from travel and the arts to sports. She especially enjoyed travelling to exotic locales with her husband David. She will be remembered fondly not only by her family but by her friends, many of whom came to comfort her in her final days. Her husband was by her side until the very end to usher his "warrior goddess" into "the end zone of Eternity". She is survived by her husband David Peasley, her mother, Regina Stein, her four brothers Marc, Mike, Milton and Sam Stein and several nieces and nephews. Rose was preceded in death by her father, Ramon Stein, M.D Those wishing to remember Rose may make donations to IT KAN or any organization providing support and services to people with disabilities.
