Rose Mary Clauson

Rose Mary Clauson, 88 of Westville, Illinois went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 30, 2014. Rose was born July 31, 1925, the daughter of James and Esther “Albert” Emery Sr. She married Merl Clauson Jr. on June 18, 1949. He preceded her in death on October 30, 1993. Surviving are three daughters, Sherrill Bogart of Danville, Connie Lundell of Danville and Shirley Bell of Warsaw, In., grandchildren; Todd (Erin) Gross of Danville ,Nikki Bogart of Danville, Lisa (Brian) Platt of Taunton, MA, Jason (Leslie Fitzsimmons) Lundell of Fall River, MA, Tim (Erna Misik) Bell of Medford, OR, Sherry (Loren) Dalrymple of Warsaw, IN and Julie (Romney) Large of Warsaw, IN, great-grandchildren; Parker T., Tyler, Katelyn, Angela, Tacoma, Maureen, Cody, Shaina, Parkur, Hannah, Shelby, Abby, Roman, and Jane, two sisters; Shirley Levickey and Patricia Black. She is also survived by three very special nephews Beaver, Patrick, and Darrick Black. Rose was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and three loving sons-in-law; Raymond Bogart, Richard Lundell and Terry Bell, two sisters; Lucy Palmer and Jane Krasovich, and five brothers; James Emery Jr., Robert Emery, Gilbert Emery, Arnold Emery and William Emery. Rose was a dedicated mother and grandmother and supported all of her family. She loved her twice a year trips to Warsaw, Indiana where she was able to help with the childrens dance recitals and at Christmas. Rose could always be found on the go! If it was going to yard sales or just going with someone somewhere. Rose and Merl loved square dancing, they were teachers and members of multiple clubs, Frontier Twirlers, Twirling Squares and Hooten Owls. Rose was a lifelong resident of Westville and a faithful member of the Community Church of God. A celebration of life memorial service for Rose will begin at 6:00pm Monday February 3, 2014 at Community Church of God, 535 South Bowman Danville IL. Pastor Corey Stocksdale officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 untill 6:00pm prior to the service. Memorials can be made in Roses name to Community Church of God Missions.
