Danville Rosauro Perez, 64, of Danville passed away with his family by his side at OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center in Danville on December 10, 2019 at 7:40 PM.

Rosauro was born on December 19, 1954 in Goliad, Texas the son of Fabian and Herminia (Diaz) Perez. Rosauro married Petra N Torres August 1973, in Texas and she survives

Survivors include his wife, Petra Perez of Danville, IL, two sons, Rosauro (Gina) Perez, Jr of Nashville, TN and Rene Perez of Danville, IL, four daughters, Mary (Kevin) Parker, Raquela (Eduardo) Padron, Gloria (Pablo) Bravo, and Adelita (Jose) Don Juan all of Danville, IL, and one "unofficially adopted" daughter Becky(Joe) Figueroa, and one "unofficially adopted" son Mike (El Gringo) Amus. Along with Seven brothers, Fabian (Jeannie) Perez of Mitchell, IN, Juan (Nancy) Perez, Jessie Perez, George (Ashley) Perez, Vidal (Amy) Perez, Freddie (Bonnie) Perez and Tommy (Brenda) Perez, all from Columbus, two sisters, Joanne Perez and Rachel Gonzalez both of Columbus, IN as well as twenty grandchildren: Ariana Padron, Lamar Kindle, Cristy Padron, Andrea Don Juan, Luciano, Perez, Lucia Perez, Eduardo Padron, Emilio Padron, Tony Bravo, Enrique DonJuan, Kaitlynn Parker, Pilar Perez, Leslie Padron, Aracely Bravo, Rubi Bravo, Jocelyn Padron, Linda Bravo, Madisyn Parker, Laylana Parker, Ariel DonJuan. Countless number of nieces and nephews.

Rosauro is preceded in death by his parents Fabian and Herminia Perez, one brother, Phillip Perez and two sisters, Sophia Perez and Pauline Perez as well as one granddaughter, Lillina Perez.

Rosauro was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church in Danville and retired in January 2017 from Bungee Milling as an Associate. He enjoyed spending his free time with his children, grandchildren and as well as everyone that came to visit, attending family dances, painting ceramics, attending rummage sales, 'junking' and refurbishing items he would find and taking a drive in his Beloved 1993 Green & White Chevy Silverado. Rosauro Perez was loved by everyone, and will truly be missed.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Rosauro will be held at 10:00 AM Monday December 16, 2019 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 444 East Main Street, Danville, IL. Father Steven Loftus will officiate. Burial will be in Resurrection Cemetery in Danville, IL. Visitation will be held from 2:00 4:00 PM on Sunday, December 15, 2019 with a 1:30 PM Rosary Service prior at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 3940 N. Vermilion Street, Danville, IL.
