Rosalie Collom

Rosalie Collom, 76, of Danville passed away at Presence Hospital in Urbana on Monday June 15, 2015. Rosalie was born January 24, 1939 in Danville, to Bert and Betsy Phillips. She married Robert Collom the love of her life he preceded her in death on September 12, 1999. Surviving Rosalie are three children, Robert (Judy Halls) Collom, Carolyn (Ray) Riggle and Jerry Collom; one sister Mary Boyed; six grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchildren and five step grandchildren, 14 step great grandchildren and 7 step great great grandchildren. Rosalie was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert, one son Jimmy Collom; two sisters and one brother; one daughter-in-law Terrie Collom. She enjoyed Bingo, fishing, dancing and listening to music. Rosalie always loved to cook for her family. A Celebration of Life will be held at Sunset Funeral Home in Danville, at 1:00pm on Thursday June 18, 2015 with a visitation to be held at the funeral home one hour prior.
