Ronald L. Woodrow, 69, of Covington, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2007, at Covington, Indiana. Ronald was born June 23, 1937, in Danville, Illinois, the son of Glen D. and Mary (Grismore) Woodrow. He is survived by his son, Scott (Christine) Woodrow of Avon, Indiana; daughter, Lori (David) Starr of Fishers, Indiana; brother, Duane (Phyllis) Woodrow of Kingman, Indiana; sisters, Ann (Bob) Ellis of Covington, Indiana, Sue (Marshall) Anderson of Attica, Indiana and Glenda (Forest) Boling of Covington, Indiana; grandchildren, Zach, Adam and Nathan Starr at home and Lauren and Jacob Woodrow at home.. He was preceded in death by his parents. Ron graduated from Kingman High School in 1955. He then served in the United States Army from 1960-1962. Ron worked as a laborer at Flexel and retired in 1995. He owned and operated his own business, Woodrow Lawn Service. He loved attending sporting events and spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of the 2nd Church of Christ in Danville, Illinois. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. EDT, Saturday, May 5, 2007 at Sunsets Covington Chapel, 420 3rd Street, in Covington, Indiana. Drew Mentzer will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. EDT, on Friday, May 4, 2007. Memorials may be made to Second Church of Christ.
