Kingman, Ind. -- Ronald W. "Fuzz" Randolph, 73, of rural Kingman (Silver Island Community), passed away at 5:15 p.m. EDT Monday, September 19, 2011 at his residence. He was born September 1, 1938 in Parke County, Indiana, the son of the late Lindley F. and Mary Alice Mitchell Randolph. He first married Judith Mann. She preceded him in death in 1960. He later married Sis Root. Survivors include one daughter, Lorena "Tiny" Davis of Kingman, Indiana; two sons, Bill(Bonnie)Randolph of Cayuga, Indiana and Kevin(Shelley)Randolph of Veedersburg, Indiana; his loving companion for the past nineteen years, Paula Davis of Kingman, Indiana and her three sons, Mike(Pam)Davis of Terre Haute, Indiana; Paul(Kathy)Davis of Veedersburg, Indiana and Jason(Amanda)Davis of Kingman, Indiana; sixteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; two sisters, Marilyn Porter of Cayuga, Indiana and Lynnette(Ron)McMahan of Covington, Indiana. Fuzz was preceded in death by his son, Robert Randolph; great granddaughter, Naughtyah Holliman and brother, Don Warren Randolph. Fuzz was a sixth generation Randolph farmer on Silver Island. He was a Vietnam War veteran of the United States Army. Fuzz was a 1956 graduate of Kingman High School. He was a lifetime member and former commander of the Cayuga American Legion Post #263 and a current Silver Island Cemetery Board member. Fuzz enjoyed golfing, NASCAR, Colts football, watching humming birds, farming, being outdoors, his dog Daisy and spending time with his friends and family. Funeral services: 11 a.m. EDT Friday, September 23, 2011 at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Indiana; Officiating: Pastor Scott Randolph; Burial: Silver Island Cemetery in rural Kingman, Indiana with military rites by the Cayuga American Legion Post #263; Visitation: 4 to 8 p.m. EDT Thursday, September 22, 2011 at the funeral home.
