He was a member of The Elks Lodge and Loyal Order of Moose, where he served as Governor at lodge #1853, in Anaheim, from 2000 to 2002.
Some of his favorite times were spent hanging out at "The River," fishing, camping, and sitting around a fire with family and friends. Ronnie also enjoyed playing in pool tournaments with Chuck “Johnny” Cooper (nephew) and fellow Elk’s members at Lodge #538 in Auburn, CA.
In addition to his parents and loving wife, Juanita, Ronnie was preceded in death by stepsons Mike & Mark Nixon and six siblings.
