Ronald Miller, Jr

Ronald Ranell Miller Jr. was born February 24, 2008, to Renail and Ronald Miller Sr. in Chicago, IL. He was the seventh child out of nine. Ronald Jr. was affectionately nicknamed "Lil Ron".

Lil Ron graduated 8th grade from North Ridge Middle School in Danville, IL. He was a respected son, brother, uncle, nephew and cousin who loved his family dearly. He was an intelligent child with an abundance of talent and motivation. It was part of his personality to make sure there was a smile on the face of everyone he came in contact with. Whenever Lil Ron was around there were always jokes and laughter to be shared. He had a vision to make a movie about his family and the love they all have for each other.

Ronald R. Miller Jr. departed this earthly life on Monday, July 11, 2022.

He leaves to mourn and cherish his memories to his parents Renail and Ronald Miller Sr.; Four sisters Hakima Gray, Dominique, Theresa and TaShonna Jones all of Danville, IL; Three brothers Frank Gray, Daveion Jones and Dereion Miller all of Danville,IL; Three uncles Kenneth Pratt, Michael Jones and Maurice Jones all of Chicago, IL; and one aunt Calvinia Jones of Danville, IL; Two grandfathers Danny Pratt and Theo Forrest both of Kilmichael, MS. One special cousin Jessie (Man Man) Rhodes. Three nieces Cimira Gray, Samiya Gray and Kataleya Jones; Four nephews Dantae Williams, Damani Scott, Ja'kobe Walston and Cimir Gray; and a host of other relatives and friends.

He is preceded in death by one brother Isaiah D. Miller. Two grandmothers Charlester Jones and Pandora Pratt. One grandfather Calvin Jones and one aunt Tiffany Jones.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 25, 2022 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois. Pastor Frank McCullough will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 24, 2022 from 2:00-4:00 PM and one hour prior to services.
