Ronald Lawrence Nickle

Danville - Ronald Lawrence Nickle, 82, passed away on April 25, 2016 at VA Illiana Health Care System in Danville. He was born in Cayuga, IN on June 25, 1933, the son of Lawrence & Maxine (Weir) Nickle. Ronald married Karen Johnson on August 8, 2015 in Danville. Ronald is survived by his wife; children Vicky (Larry) Webber, Rodney Nickle, Susan (Raymond) Lake, & Sherri (Jay) Turrell; daughter-in-law Barb Nickle; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, & nephews; brother Kerri (Jeanie) Nickle; sister Mary Helen Nickle; & sister-in-law Pat Nickle. Ronald is preceded in death by his parents, son Terry Nickle, & brother Floyd Nickle. Ronald served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He enjoyed traveling, camping, and reading. He retired from Kowa Printing (RNS Printing) after many years of service. Memorial visitation will be held on Friday April 29, 2016 at 10am at the VA chapel with service to follow at 11am.
