Danville - Ronald "Tiny" Dines, of Danville, passed away on May 19, 2015 at North Logan Health Care in Danville. Ronald was born June 18, 1939 in Bismarck, IL the son of Ralph A. and Ercel M. (Watson) Dines. Ronald is survived by three sisters; Carolyn Pichon of Camden, IN, Linda (Jack) Smith of Danville, Sandy (Larry) Steinbaugh of Alvin, IL; four sister-in-laws, Sue Dines, Rosemary Dines, Evelyn Dines, Donna Dines and one brother-in-law, Henry Clapp, including numerous nieces and nephews. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, twin brother, Donald; brothers John W., Ralph Jr., Gerald, Max and Larry; three sisters, Ruth Patton, Beverly Mills and Barbara Clapp. Ronald worked for the Illinois State Highway Division and then went on to work in shipping and receiving at Berkley-Davis. He enjoyed gardening, flowers, country music, collecting eagles, ducks and turkeys, Marilyn Monroe and Dolly Parton. Ronald also loved to read his Bible. He lived at the Seaton Hill Residence 52 years. Ronald enjoyed time with friends at Bowman Estates, especially the CNA's and staff, but most of all he enjoyed his family. Memorials may be made to the donor's choice. A celebration of Ronald's life will be held Friday May 22, 2015 at 10 AM at Sunset Funeral Home, a Life Celebration Home in Danville. Bill Carpenter will officiate. Visitation will be 3-7 PM, Thursday May 21, 2015 at the funeral home.
