Ronald Clyde Glass

Danville- Ronald Curly Clyde Glass, 72, of Danville passed away at 8:40 AM on April 19, 2010 at Vermillion Manor Nursing Home in Danville. He was born in Danville on November 28, 1937 to Horace and Dorothy Martin Glass. He is survived by 3 sons Ronald Lee Glass, Mike (Jammie) Glass, and Jeff (Crystal) Glass; one daughter Paula (Joe) Boyd; sister Beverly Wendell; 6 grandchildren Jason Boyd, Dalton Glass, Hannah Glass, Sierra Glass, Jessica Hughes, and Justin Glass; and 2 great-grandchildren Braeden Boyd and Trenton Callon. He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant son Ronald Dale Glass, son Kevin Clyde Glass, and a granddaughter Joellen Boyd. Ronald was baptized at Southside Nazarene Church. He was a truck driver for Inland Supply Co. He also served in the U.S. Army and was an expert marksman. Ronald enjoyed collecting guns, reading the bible, and reading Zane Gray novels. Graveside services and military honors for Ronald Glass will be held at 1 PM on Thursday April 22, 2010 at Danville National Cemetery in Danville where burial will follow. Arrangements are with Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
