Ronald Buck Poulson passed this life January 28, 2008. Buck was born January 18, 1936 in Blount Township, Illinois to Vivian Foncee Poulson and Dora Isabella Poulson. Buck graduated from Bismarck High school in 1953. He married his high school sweetheart, Dorothy Eileen Greer on July 16, 1954. Theirs was a lifelong love affair. She survives. Also surviving are his son Monty (Cuba) Poulson of Catlin, IL, daughters: Cindy (Randy) Davis of Westville, IL, and Robin (Louis) Griswold of Jacksonville, FL. Buck had one favorite grandson, Levi Poulson and six beautiful granddaughters Bridgett and Allison Davis, Lacey Poulson, Heather (Keith) Challet, and Amii and Jennifer Griswold. Buck retired from Heatcraft in 1997, but he lived a very colorful life as a horse trader and entrepreneur, always having an eye out for a new business venture. Buck loved his family above all else. He enjoyed the holidays and other family get togethers with all his children and grandchildren at home. A Celebration of Bucks Life will be held at 1:00 pm, Thursday, January 31, 2008 at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center 3940 N. Vermilion St. Danville, IL with Pastors C.W. Greer and Raymie Gordon officiating. Visitation will be held from 4-8 pm Wednesday evening at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park in Danville.
