Ronald Arthur "Scotty" Scott Ronald Arthur "Scotty" Scott, born January 8, 1947 in Campbellsville, Kentucky, to Elwood & William "Francis" (Lindsey) Scott, peacefully passed away May 27, 2015, in Danville, Illinois. Ronald proudly served our country as a Training Systems Technician, in Vietnam, as a member of the United States Air Force. "Scotty" was a Mason, loved motorcycles, old cars, old music, he could be heard singing everywhere he went, a big NASCAR fan, University of Kentucky Basketball fan, loved to travel and especially enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife Doris Jean "Dodie" (Whitlow) Scott, with whom he was united in marriage June 9, 1969, Loring, Maine; his cherished children, Brent-Austin and Ronda Scott; dear grand children, Ariel d-Joe, Chi-An, Elanea, Railey Jo, G'Ron, Lakoda, and Olivia Scott; his special friends, Brandon and Wendy Starkey, Ron and MaryLou Raffety, and Robby Wells; and by many other dear relatives and friends. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents; and by his siblings, David Scott and Beverly Nunley. A committal service will be held at Danville National Cemetery, Thursday, June 4, 2015, at 2 p.m., at the committal shelter, in Danville, with Pastor Rod Godley officiating.
