Roger Strubinger

Roger L. Strubinger, 64, of Show Low, AZ, passed away peacefully at 8:30 A.M. on Tuesday, April 25, 2017, at the home of his son, James A. Strubinger, of Camargo, IL. Roger was born January 23, 1953, in Danville, IL to William Rae and Ruey Jeane Strubinger. He graduated from Ridge Farm High School in 1971. Roger is survived by his mother, Ruey Strubinger; his sisters, Teresa Starns and Gail (Sam) Huff; his son, James (Melody) Strubinger; his grandsons, Jaxson and Parker Strubinger; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Rae Strubinger. His hobbies fishing and outdoor activities. He was a member of the Ridge Farm Masonic Lodge and the Danville Shriners. Services are scheduled for Saturday, May 13, 2017, at Bethel Baptist Church of Georgetown, IL with visitation from 10:00-12:00 CDST and a memorial service immediately following. Sunset Houghton-Leasure Chapel is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Roger's name to the family to help defray funeral costs.
