Roger M. Garland

Roger Garland, 88, passed away on Monday, November 1, 2021, at his home surrounded by loved ones. He was born on March 29, 1933, the son of William and Nancy (Curwack) Garland in Bingham, IL.

Roger leaves behind his beloved wife of 48 years, Betty (Rogers) Garland; five children, Michael (Betty) Garland, Mark (Rhonda) Garland, Lora (Randy) Stewart, Lori (Elton) Hyland, and Paul Park; nine grandchildren; many great grandchildren; three sisters; one brother; and several nieces and nephews that he loved.

Roger enjoyed boating and loved to travel. He loved his family and friends. He enjoyed eating breakfast at Vips and dinner at the Beef House. He could not go anywhere without seeing a familiar face. He will be missed dearly by his family and friends.

Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Danville, Illinois, 3940 N Vermilion St. Danville, Illinois 61834 has been entrusted with his arrangements. Per Rogers wishes he will be cremated.
