Roger Davis

RIDGE FARM " Roger Leo Davis, 43, of Ridge Farm, passed away at 4:15am on Monday, August 15th, 2005, at Provena United Samaritans Medical Center. Roger was born in Danville, IL, on August 24th, 1961, to Harley Bill and Charlotte W. [Kiger] Davis. He married Becky Snoke on April 27th, 2001, in Danville, IL. She resides in Ridge Farm. Those who will also miss him include: his mother, Charlotte of Kingman, IN; his daughter, Savannah Davis of Ridge Farm; his three step daughters, Jaquie (Charlie) Varner of Danville, Jannet White of Danville, & Logan Doggett of Ridge Farm; two step sons, Travis Eversole of Danville, & Hunter Tischendorf of Ridge Farm; his four grandsons; his sisters, Joan Hunt of Veedersburg, IN, & Reva (Roger) Deckard of Catlin; his niece, Angie Plotner of Oakwood; his nephews, Wayne (Lisa) Coppenbarger of Kingman, IN, & John Jake Kesner of Newman, IN; as well as numerous in-laws, cousins, aunts, & uncles. He was preceded in death by his father and his sister, Laura Lee Davis. He attended the schools at Cates, Cayuga, & Covington. Roger had worked as a carpenter. He loved his Harley Davidson, camping, fishing, his Doberman dogs, playing cards, visiting with friends, and most of cherished being with his family. He was loved by everyone he touched and will be missed and remembered by all. A celebration of Rogers life is scheduled for 10:00 am on Thursday, August 18th, 2005, at Sunsets Houghton-Leasure Funeral Home in Georgetown. Visitation will be 4-8pm on Wednesday, August 17th, 2005, at the funeral home. Pastor Lloyd Simpson will officiate. Roger will be laid to rest at Crown Hill Cemetery in Ridge Farm.
