Roger Bloomfield, 50 years old, was born January 25, 1957 in Danville to James F. and Mary J. Bloomfield. Roger loved his family and close friend Carl Paris. Roger was a misplaced cowboy. He loved cowboy hats, boots, horses, reading Louis Lmore books, and NASCAR. He traveled a great while with the carnival and Uncle Ed. Roger was a short order cook and loved the people he cooked for. Rogers family was an important part of his life. He found joy in working on the familys genealogy. Roger is preceded in death by his mother. Survivors include his father James F. Sr.; brothers James Jr. and Thomas (Carrie) both of Danville; sisters Peggy (Carl) of Oakwood and Lynn (Dean) Boys of Potomac, a very special niece Jamie of Danville and many, many, more nieces and nephews whom all looked up to him greatly. A Celebration of Rogers Life will be held from 1-4 pm, Wednesday June 20, 2007 at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center 3940 N. Vermilion St., Danville, IL.; with the service beginning at 4:00 pm.
