Roger Annan

Roger P. Annan, 65, of Danville passed away on April 24, 2007 at Danville Illiana Health Care Systems. Roger was born June 1, 1941 in Louisville, KY son of Walter and Juanita Greiner Sherman. Survivors include sister Meta (Bryan) Tudor and son Josh (Amanda) Whitney grandson Brendan Whitney and nephew John Tudor. Roger was preceded in death by his parents. Roger was a graduate of Dupont Manual High School and served in the U.S. Navy for 20 years as a corpman; serving two tours in Vietnam. He enjoyed playing cards and loved his cats: Precious, Thumper, & Kane. A Celebration of Rogers Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 28, 2007 at Sunsets Community & Life Tribute Center, 3550 N. Vermilion St., (formerly Lakeside-Barrick Funeral Chapel) with Pastor Doug Knapp officiating. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Saturday morning at the funeral home.
