Robin Renee Mcconaha-Lard

URBANA- Robin Renee McConaha-Lard, 44, of Urbana died on Wednesday, October 30, 2013 at 12:19 pm at Carle Hospital in Urbana. Robin was born on May 10, 1969 in Champaign to Edward L. and Charlotte K. Lincoln-McConaha. She is survived by one son, Spencer Lard; one daughter, Kayla Lard; her mother, Charlotte McConaha; sister, Deana McConaha; brother, Bobby McConaha; a niece, Peyton McConaha; one nephew, Gabriel McConaha; an uncle, George Lincoln; and paternal grandmother Kate McConaha. Preceding her in death is her father, Edward McConaha; sister, Brenda McConaha; a brother, Ed McConaha; paternal grandfather, Faye McConaha; maternal grandmother Frances Lincoln; and maternal grandfather, Kenneth Lincoln. Robin was a graduate of Urbana High School, and was a secretary for Prudential Real Estate of Champaign. She was a member of the PTA serving as a Room Parent, and organized many parties and functions. She was fondly known for her kind and concerned nature, and her love for her children. Robin was a huge Nascar fan and loved country music. A service to celebrate and remember the life of Robin Renee Lard will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Homes Champaign-Urbana Chapel, 710 N. Neil Street, Champaign. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. to the time of ceremonies. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
