Robert Yecny

Robert "Bob" D. Yecny, 90, of Champaign passed away on Thursday, December 21, 2023. He was born in Fresno, CA on May 27, 1933, the son of James and Gertrude Yecny. On September 20, 1958, Bob married Joan Miner and they spent 63 years together before her passing on March 13, 2022.

Bob is survived by his son, James "Jimmy" Yecny, brother-in-law, Daniel (Cathy) Miner Sr.; nieces and nephews, Michelle (Kevin) Howlett, Daniel Miner Jr., Philip Miner, Jordan Miner, Matthew (Samantha) Miner, Jacob Miner and numerous great nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and beloved wife.

Bob was a veteran of the United States Navy and Army. He enjoyed cooking and gardening.

Bob will be interred at Eastlawn Burial Park, 802 N. Cunningham Ave., Urbana, Il 61801.
