Danville- Robert White, 85, formally of Catlin, passed away on June 4, 2013 at his home in Apache Junction, Arizona. He was born on February 15, 1928 in Terre Haute, IN to Warren and Mary McLin White. He was married to Rita Reinhard on July 1, 1950 in Terre Haute, IN. She survives He is survived by his children Rhonda Botkin, Ray (Tracy) White, and Roger (Kim) White. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and his oldest son Randy White. Robert enjoyed watching the NASCAR races, he also liked to go golfing and fishing. Robert was well known for owning the Sunoco station in Danville and employing many of Danville's youth at the station, in the late 50's. He also worked for the better part of his career as an operating engineer for local union 841. Robert served his country in the United States Navy towards the end of WW2. Above all else, Robert loved to travel and spend time with his wife, his Family, and his friends. A Memorial Gathering for Robert will be held from 2:00- 5:00pm on Monday June 24, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home and Cremation Center, A Life Celebration Home in Danville.
