Vancouver, Washington - Robert Wagner, 75, of Vancouver and formerly of the Covington, Indiana area, passed away Thursday, February 5, 2015 at 4:52 p.m. PST at Peace Health Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver. Robert was born on September 30, 1939 in Washington, D.C., the son of the late Robert James and Edna Mae Norris Wagner. He married Sandra Kaye Crafton on December 26, 1991 in Sevierville, Tennessee. She preceded him in death on August 25, 1993. Survivors include his four children, Robert(Debby)Wagner; Kenneth(Michelle)Wagner; Kerri(Darrel)Cole and Maryann Wagner, and two brothers, Joe Wagner of Hamilton, Ohio and Paul(Nancy)Wagner of Covington, Indiana. Robert was a retired long haul truck driver. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps earning the rank of LCpl. Private family graveside services were held Saturday, February 14, 2015 at Coal Creek Cemetery, south of Covington, Indiana; Officiating: Rev. Don Morgan. Military rites were accorded by the Cayuga American Legion Post #263. DeVerter Funeral Home of Cayuga, Indiana assisted the family with arrangements.
