Robert Thomas Sheahan, 38, of Hobart, In. formerly of Danville passed away at 12:13pm on Wednesday November 5, 2008 at his residence with his family at his side. Robert was born on February 11, 1970 in Danville the son of Thomas M. and Wanda Edwards Sheahan. On December 30, 1997 he married Loretta L. Sherman in Danville. She survives along with his children Jaedon Thomas, Rylie Morgan, McKenzie Renee Sheahan and Ashley Lynn Sherman; parents Wanda (Jack) Dungan and Thomas Sheahan. Sisters Adrienne (Jim) Baum, Sarah (Ryan) Seymour, Carol (Larry) McGill, Kay Musil and Jane (Jeff) Laurich also many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; dear friends T.J. Hill, Cindy Nieggeman, Bruce Beatty, Dave Montgomery, Eric Hendrickson, Bob Kennedy and everyone from CSX Railroad. His maternal and paternal grandparents and uncle Dale Edwards preceded him in death. Robert was a Mason and member of the Shriners. He enjoyed coaching his sons football team, playing golf and watching the Chicago Bears. Robert worked for CSX Railroad starting in the yards working his way up as Conductor, Engineer and most recently as Train Dispatcher. His family and friends will miss him deeply. A celebration of Roberts life will be held at 10:00am on Saturday November 8, 2008 at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center 3940 N. Vermilion St. The ministers to officiate will be Vern Huber and Ryan Seymour. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park.
