Robert L. Sills II

Robert L Sills II (“Bob”) passed away February 20, 2025. Bob was born in Danville, IL, the son of Robert and Anita Sills.

He is survived by his brothers Ron Sills and Dan Sills, his sisters Marnita Sills, Elaine Bryant, and Dawn Sills, several nieces and nephews, and longtime companion Tammy. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, and sister Sheryl Strayer.

Bob graduated from Mahomet-Seymour High School. His favorite subject was music appreciation. Bob began playing guitar in grade school and it became his passion. He enjoyed singing, fishing, and walking nature trails. He was kind and caring, and didn’t hesitate to help others when needed.

Per Robert’s wishes, there will be no public visitation or funeral. A private interment service will be held at Sunset Memorial Park 3901 N. Vermilion Street in Danville, IL. 61834.
