Danville Robert Sedlmayr, 35 of Noblesville, IN formerly of Danville passed away on July 10, 2023 in Hamburg, NY.
Robert was born on September 6, 1987 the son of Robert and Linda "Lindy" (Buchar) Sedlmayr in Danville, IL.
Robert is survived by his parents, father, Robert Sedlmayr of Charleston, IL, mother, Lindy Sedlmayr of Danville, IL, fiance, Taryn "Bear" Miller of Noblesville, IN, brother, George "Porky" Sedlmayr of Danville, IL, sister, Ellen "Schmick" (Adam) McCloud of Covington, IN, niece, Charlie McCloud, baby Min, as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins and nieces.
Robert is preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents as well as an infant sister, Gretchen Sedlmayr.
Robert had a special relationship with his siblings, whether it was trying to prove he was more tough than his big brother, or trying to convince his sister she had the bigger nose.
Robert was a Wind Turbine Technician who specialized in blade repairs. Robert made many friends in the wind turbine industry with many looking up to him for his knowledge and expertise in the field. During his time in the field, he built a strong bond with his coworkers, which left an everlasting impact in their hearts and his. He was an avid Chicago Cubs and Bears fan and enjoyed attending games, even if that meant dragging Taryn (White Sox Fan) to as many games as possible. Robert loved concerts, sports, friends and family. Robert had a passion for good food, especially Mexican and surprised everyone with his Spanish speaking abilities. He enjoyed living life spontaneously and looked forward to the next adventure. Robert never met a stranger. Robert loved life in general and Taryn, his fiance, was the love of his life.
A Celebration of Life Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday July 22, 2023 at Turtle Run Banquet Center Danville, IL, 332 E Liberty Lane, Danville, Illinois 61832.
